Getting started

How long is the free trial? +

Fourteen full days, no credit card required at signup. You get the equivalent of an Rs. 500 credit which is enough to run typical apps end-to-end through the trial period.

What stacks does Cloudjiffy support? +

Java (Tomcat, TomEE, GlassFish, Payara, WildFly, Spring Boot), PHP (Apache, NGINX, LiteSpeed), Node.js, Ruby, Python (Django, Flask, Apache, Uvicorn), Go, .NET Core, and any Docker image you bring.

Can I migrate from another host? +

Yes — and we do it for free. Send us your current host details and our team handles the database export, file sync, DNS cutover, and post-migration validation.

Scaling & performance

How does auto-scaling work? +

You set min/max cloudlet limits per node. Cloudjiffy monitors CPU and RAM in real time and adds horizontal cloudlets within your range when load rises, then removes them once load drops back below threshold.

Will my app go down during scale events? +

No. Vertical scaling (adding RAM/CPU to existing cloudlets) is hot — no restart. Horizontal scaling spins up new container instances behind the existing load balancer.

How do I scale a stateful service like a database? +

Cloudjiffy supports clustered MySQL, MariaDB, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB with built-in primary/replica replication and automatic failover.

Pricing & billing

How is the bill calculated? +

Cloudjiffy measures consumption every hour and bills you for the actual cloudlets used during that hour. There are no fixed tiers — you pay for what you actually consumed.

Can I set a billing cap? +

Yes. You can configure spending limits per environment to prevent runaway scaling from creating surprise bills.

Do you offer reserved capacity discounts? +

For Enterprise customers, yes. Pre-committing to a baseline cloudlet allocation unlocks pricing up to 40% lower than on-demand rates.

Security & compliance

How are environments isolated? +

Each container runs in its own namespace with its own filesystem, network namespace, and resource limits. Cross-environment traffic must go through public endpoints by default.

Where is data stored? +

In the region you provision — Pune (India), Frankfurt (Germany), or Los Angeles (USA). Data does not transit between regions without your explicit action.

Are backups included? +

Yes, daily backups are included on every plan, retained for 7 days. Business and Enterprise plans add hourly snapshots with longer retention.
